History:
Little is known of NanoMan's origins except for what he's personally revealed in interviews. He was apparently born in a subatomic "nanoverse" where he learned to channel a primal energy force called the Nanos. Over time, his control over the Nanos grew, and so did he. He eventually became that universe's greatest hero, both figuratively AND literally.

Ultimately, he outgrew his native universe and emerged in ours, where he quickly established himself as a force for good and a media darling. Because, let's be honest, who doesn't love a hero who's the same size as his action figure?

NanoMan occasionally adventures with the Global Alliance of Heroes and has been known to mentor younger heroes, including the stellar-powered Star Fighter.

Powers:
NanoMan is comparatively smaller than a normal human, but absolutely ginormous by the standards of his native Nanoverse. He can fly at supersonic speeds. And, most importantly, he can manipulate the primal energy force called the Nanos. This allows him to create force fields, fire energy blasts, and any other miscellaneous feats that the script may require.

Weaknesses:
Has to close double doors one at a time.

Creator's notes:
"I knew I was going to need an 'established hero' to council Ethan in issue two. For a while, I was contemplating borrowing an established character, but then I came up with NanoMan, and I really wanted to include him in the story.

"Sad, but true: the character's main appeal for me is that his name rhymes with the expression 'Man, oh, man!' So his foes can cry out, 'Man, oh, man! It's NanoMan!' " - Drew
