History:
Ethan grew up in Iowa. At some point he got superpowers and started fighting crime as Star Fighter. In Iowa. (For more on Ethan's origin, check out ARCHENEMIES #4.)

Ethan recently left Iowa to move to New York. Because he ran out of supervillains in Iowa.

Seriously.

Ethan works at Morpheus Books, a prestigous midtown publishing company. Even Ethan isn't sure what he does there. His co-worker (and sometimes love interest) Trish helped him find his current apartment.

Ethan's roommate, Vincent Darko, is secretly his new archenemy, The Underlord. Vincent is awkward and neurotic, and he seems committed to driving Ethan insane. If it's possible, Ethan may actually hate Vincent as Vincent more than he hates Vincent as The Underlord.

Powers:
Ethan Baxter's body is charged with "stellar energy." Or something like that. Ethan can channel this energy to create destructive energy blasts or blinding bursts of light. Also, he can fly.

Oh, and the stellar energy also grants him increased strength, speed, stamina, and healing capability.

Gear:
Ethan has special "stellar control bands" built into his costume, that help him to, you know... control all that stellar energy stuff. Also built in the costume: a wig.

Weaknesses:
Questionable work ethic. Wears a wig. General jack-assery.

"Most superheroes are created in the Peter Parker mold: the lovable loser who learns to become a hero. With Ethan, I wanted to go in a different direction. What if the spider bit a jerk like Flash Thompson instead? Could Flash grow up to be a hero like Peter?" - Drew
